A&H Hargreaves Invests in the Future

At A&H Hargreaves, we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of skilled joiners and carpenters. Our ongoing apprenticeship programme is a testament to our commitment to both the future of our company and the growth of the Lancashire construction community.

We believe that providing young people with the opportunity to learn a valuable trade and gain hands-on experience is essential for preserving the tradition of quality craftsmanship. We’re proud to have several former apprentices who have built successful careers within our team, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of our programme.

We work closely with local colleges, particularly Accrington & Rossendale College, to provide a structured learning environment that combines classroom theory with practical experience. In fact, our Managing Director, Mark, began his own career as an apprentice at Accrington & Rossendale College, and we currently have two apprentices training there, carrying on our tradition of developing local talent.

“Our apprentices are an integral part of our team,” says Katie Coaker, Director at A&H Hargreaves. “They bring a fresh perspective and enthusiasm, and we’re dedicated to supporting their development into highly skilled professionals.”

Experienced Joiner/Carpenter Wanted

Alongside our commitment to apprenticeships, we’re always looking for experienced joiners and carpenters to join our team. If you’re a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in delivering exceptional work, we encourage you to explore our current vacancies.
